The 84th China International Medical Equipment Fair (CMEF Spring)

From May 13 to 16, 2021, the 84th China International Medical Equipment Fair (CMEF Spring) was successfully held at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai. Under the theme "Innovative technology, smart leadership for the future", this year's CMEF and its related exhibitions featured completely upgraded, larger-than-ever exhibition areas, bringing together opinion leaders, entrepreneurs and industry colleagues to witness the future of the industry.

Overcoming every obstacle to take part

Although the global pandemic situation remained serious, this year's CMEF took place as planned, and we would like to thank the organizers, all the institutions involved and our partners for their support. True to its corporate philosophy of "creating a healthier world with a spirit of excellence", Richard Wolf actively takes part in industry exchange and contributes to the thriving development of the industry.

The pandemic also made transporting medical devices to the fair difficult, and logistics were more challenging than ever. But our German headquarters attaches great importance to the Greater China market: together with headquarters, we began preparing materials more than six months in advance to make sure our products would be on show at CMEF on time. We also took strict pandemic prevention measures, providing plenty of free hand sanitizer at our booth, so that employees, partners and visitors could meet in a safe and hygienic environment.

Spirit of excellence that impressed at CMEF

As a pioneer in endoscopy, Richard Wolf has always valued communication with its distributors, hospitals and the healthcare industry. Richard Wolf believes that direct communication is the best way to exchange ideas: by listening to feedback and discovering new ideas, we create more room to improve and develop more user-friendly, innovative products.

To match the fair's theme "Innovative technology, smart leadership for the future", Richard Wolf completely reinvented its booth design with an open, free-flowing concept. More than six months of work went into presenting our ideas of innovation to visitors, and the booth was very well received.

At this CMEF, Richard Wolf presented innovative products such as the ENDOCAM Logic 4K camera system, the SHARK resectoscope and the PRINCESS resectoscope, and the innovative ENDOCAM Flex HD camera system was voted the most popular must-see endoscopy product of the 84th CMEF.
