The newly registered product is the System blue blue-light imaging system, which includes the ENDOCAM Logic 4K camera system, the PENDUAL blue camera head, the ENDOLIGHT LED blue cold light source and four PANOVIEW blue endoscopes (0°, 12°, 30°, 70°). All products have received medical device registration certificates from the National Medical Products Administration (NMPA).

System blue imaging systemUsed with Hexvix® from Asieris Pharmaceuticals, it effectively increases the detection rate of non-muscle-invasive bladder cancer (NMIBC) lesions, especially carcinoma in situ (CIS), helping physicians identify more suspicious lesions and enabling more precise diagnosis and more complete resection – opening a new era of blue-light diagnosis and treatment of the bladder.

ENDOCAM Logic 4K camera system

  • Sharp 4K resolution of up to 4096 × 2160 pixels
  • Compatible with all applied parts and camera heads of the ENDOCAM Logic HD
  • Special Imaging Modes (SIM) for image differentiation
  • Very easy to use, with clinical presets for each discipline
  • Default user settings saved automatically
  • High-resolution images and videos stored on USB media

About the Richard Wolf System blue imaging system

Richard Wolf System blue is currently the only blue-light cystoscopy system in China. As a new product that goes beyond conventional white-light imaging, it identifies fluorescence-stained tumor tissue more precisely than conventional white-light cystoscopy, increasing the detection rate. After bladder instillation of Hexvix (hexaminolevulinate hydrochloride for intravesical use), under fluorescence excitation by System blue, tumor tissue fluoresces red, in clear contrast to normal tissue, which appears blue. Light modes that can be switched during surgery give higher-contrast images, make it easier to distinguish malignant from healthy tissue and make fluorescence-stained areas brighter with sharper borders, so that all tumors can be completely and precisely resected. Blue-light cystoscopy has now been approved in more than 30 countries worldwide. Used together with the blue-light imaging agent Hexvix, it effectively increases the detection rate of NMIBC, enables more complete resection and thereby reduces tumor recurrence.
