Maintenance-Free Two-Way Stopcock

A dream come true

As a leading supplier of minimally invasive surgery equipment, Richard Wolf has launched the first completely maintenance-free two-way stopcock, which is not only highly functional but also easy to assemble and disassemble.

Oils and lubricants make instrument sterilization extremely complicated, so they are only used where there is no alternative – for example, at the joints of forceps and scissors.

Richard Wolf took this opportunity to develop the two-way stopcock further, using the proven maintenance-free concept already applied to its standard stopcocks. This design also allows instruments to be sterilized without disassembly, saving reprocessing and surgery time and increasing safety.

Advantages at a glance

  • Easy to assemble and disassemble
  • No lubricants or oils needed – completely maintenance-free
  • Unrestricted automated reprocessing
  • Can be sterilized assembled with all common methods!
