RESECTION MASTER

Overcoming difficulties with ease

During myomectomy, accumulated tissue chips float in the distension medium and impair visibility of the uterine cavity. As the procedure continues, the risk of perforation keeps increasing!

The resection therefore has to be interrupted again and again to remove the resected tissue. This significantly prolongs the procedure and can lead to TUR syndrome. In addition, each reinsertion of the resectoscope after curettage carries a risk of perforation!

Richard Wolf developed the RESECTION MASTER system to solve this problem.

This hybrid solution combines conventional resection with immediate aspiration of tissue chips, bringing the best of both in one system and setting us apart from the competition.

Short pulses aspirate resected tissue immediately and automatically, so the procedure can continue without interruption. There is no need to stop again and again to remove tissue chips.

This greatly increases patient safety and lets surgeons complete the procedure faster and more easily.
