SecuFix Uterine Manipulator
A new dawn in safety
Thanks to the development of patient-friendly minimally invasive hysterectomy and its good postoperative results, most hysterectomies today can be performed laparoscopically.
The new SecuFix uterine manipulator sets new safety standards. Its key new features are vacuum suction and "vaginal transillumination" (visualization of the tissue around the cervical cap with distal ring illumination), which prevent damage to the uterus during fixation. These features are essential for excellent surgical results that meet oncological standards – for example, by preventing displacement of tumor structures into the peritoneum.
The SecuFix uterine manipulator has a modular design consisting of only three parts: the manipulator, the uterine probe and the "vaginal transilluminator". The longitudinal scale on the uterine probe allows it to be adjusted to different cervical lengths, minimizing cervical dilatation.
- Safe, atraumatic fixation of the uterus in laparoscopic hysterectomy using vacuum suction and tissue transillumination
- Three-part modular design
- Manipulator and uterine probe are reusable; the vaginal transilluminator is a sterile single-use product
