With brilliant 4K resolution achieved through cutting-edge technology, Richard Wolf is taking endoscopic image quality to a whole new level. Precisely coordinated system components guarantee true-to-life image reproduction. At the same time, the system is energy-efficient, ergonomic and compact. Intelligent processing algorithms, the Special Imaging Modes (SIM), make structures that are difficult to recognize clearly visible.

4K resolution of up to 4096 × 2160 pixels is four times the current HD standard. To achieve this, Richard Wolf has brought its areas of expertise together, combining endoscopes, light, signal processing and advanced production technology into a solution from a single source.

SIM – Special Imaging Modes

Special Imaging Modes (SIM)

Besides the natural white-light image, users can choose from 6 digital algorithms, the Special Imaging Modes, which can make tissue easier to differentiate. A preset SIM is switched on or off at the press of a camera head button.

Color contrast I – III

In homogeneous image areas where a differential diagnosis is difficult, 3 different modes can be selected to enhance contrast and show different structures in false color.

Contrast I - II

A special structure enhancer brings out pale and blurred image content realistically while keeping the original color tones.

HDR - High Dynamic Range

Dark image areas become much brighter, and overexposed areas are darkened.

BOA vision

BOA series flexible single-channel sensor ureterorenoscopes have a slim design, with a sheath diameter of 8.7 Fr. and a distal tip of only 6.6 Fr., making them particularly suitable for complex and narrow anatomy.BOA series endoscopes have a 3.6 Fr. working and irrigation channel and 270° deflection in both directions, and can be inserted through a 9.5 Fr. access sheath, which makes them particularly suitable for pediatric examinations.

COBRA vision

COBRA series is the first and only flexible sensor ureterorenoscope with two working channels and a laser deflector, and is particularly suited to laser stone therapy, for example with the MegaPulse 70+. The two working channels can be used at the same time without interrupting the workflow, so laser lithotripsy and stone retrieval can be carried out simultaneously. The specially developed laser deflector holds the laser fiber in place and then positions it precisely on the stone during treatment.

In addition, the light, ergonomic handle with axial cable outlet makes handling even easier.
