Surgical Techniques in Gynecology
Diagnostic hysteroscopy is used to visualize intrauterine lesions and conditions such as polyps, fibroids or heavy menstrual bleeding, which can then be treated by operative hysteroscopy.
In gynecological laparoscopy, the uterus, ovaries and fallopian tubes can now be diagnosed and treated with minimally invasive surgery.
Working closely with leading gynecologists, Richard Wolf has developed advanced instrument sets and system solutions for all types of hysteroscopic and laparoscopic applications. Throughout development, our first priority has always been to further reduce potential risks.
These minimally invasive procedures have many advantages, including much less pain for patients and greatly reduced surgical trauma. Because they reduce postoperative discomfort, many procedures can now be performed on an outpatient basis or with a short hospital stay.
