ERAGONbipolar Biopsy Forceps

Completely safe, perfectly precise

Bleeding often occurs during interventions in the bronchial system and must be stopped quickly.

This is where the ERAGONbipolar biopsy forceps shows its great advantage. Its double-action jaws allow larger tissue samples with a perfect cut while controlling any bleeding with HF coagulation. When closed, the spoon jaws work like a coagulation electrode.

Because the instrument is bipolar, no neutral electrode is needed.

The ERAGONbipolar biopsy forceps is ideal for use with the TEXAS bronchoscope system.

  • Bipolar design for the bronchial system
  • Large double-action spoon jaws
  • Sheath rotatable through 360°
  • Three-part modular design, can be disassembled for reprocessing

Bipolar forceps for biopsy in rigid bronchoscopy

Heavy bleeding often occurs during interventions and needs to be controlled quickly and skillfully.

With this in mind, we developed large double-action spoon biopsy forceps that allow HF hemostasis even during tissue ablation.

Its bipolar design needs no neutral electrode, offering an additional advantage.
